Christmas in Weymouth is great fun. This year there is a wide range of activities happening all over the town. Here are just a few of them that all can enjoy.
Weymouth’s Big Christmas
This year Weymouth prepares itself for it’s biggest Christmas yet. Stretching from the 4th until the 31st of December Weymouth’s big Christmas will have a wide range of activities perfect for all ages, whether you’re a couple hoping to escape for a peaceful weekend or a family of five looking for something to keep the kids occupied there’s something for everyone.
Go to Weymouth’s Big Christmas for more information.
The Big Christmas Pudding Chase
If you’re someone looking for a challenge or someone looking for a good laugh this event is perfect for both spectators and participants. The event starts at 11am on Sunday 20th December and is expected to finish at around 1pm. Watch as fairies, santas and elves alike will run across the beach (finishing at Weymouth Pavilion) trying to catch the lonesome Christmas Pudding.
The event is arranged by Dorset Borough Council and BustinSkins events. Both are trying to reach record breaking numbers in hope to raise money for the Will Mackaness Trust.
Visit The Big Christmas Pudding Chase for more information.
Meet Father Christmas
Meet the REAL (promise!) Father Christmas this year at the Weymouth Sea life Center. A magical experience for kids and -let’s face it- adults. The jolly man with the big white beard will be arriving on December 5th and will have frequent visits to the park through out December. Each child who visits will be able to tell father Christmas what they want for Christmas and will receive a Sea life gift. And as if that wasn’t enough there will also be a Christmas Craft zone for the little ones.
Visit Father Christmas at the Sea life center for more information about ticket bookings and available dates.
