On entering the cottage …. we arrive at the stylish lounge with comfy seating for six. There is a Plasma TV with Freeview, radio, DVD and CD player and plenty of books and games. There is full central heating throughout the property and a gas fire in the lounge. The adjacent dining room similarly provides generous seating for six.

The stairs to the first and second floors are the steep originals .… and guests are kindly asked to supervise children under five.

On the first floor …. we reach the stunning master bedroom with its views over the Portland skyline. We think these two pictures really speak for themselves and, like the rest of the property, are a real testament to the owner's impeccable taste!

Up the final flight of stairs we reach two well appointed twin bedded rooms …. one with clear views of Lyme Bay and the other, distant roof tops over Chesil. All bedrooms have plenty of cupboard space and all linen, duvets and pillows are provided. Towels are available to hire at nominal cost
